CAT (Compassion in Action) Team #8!

Our Team with Miss Betty (it seems all women in Loisiana are referred to as "Miss") at the end of our first job on Tuesday.

A view down the street we were working on. The biggest change between this trip and the one in October is there is a lot more street cleanup going on and a lot fewer trees down in the neighborhoods. There are still a lot of abandonded flood cars, and a LOT of homes that still need cleanup!

This was the house next door to Miss Betty's and we were told that the "HELP" on the roof was put there by a neighbor that pulled the old woman that lived there out and up onto the roof as she was having a heart attack during the flood. Help didn't come in time and the woman passed away.
